We are seeking a Development Manager for a Hospitality project, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia   

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager Development will be responsible for overseeing and managing real estate development projects from inception to completion. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, risk and project management, and team leadership to ensure that projects align with the company's goals and meet market demands. The Senior Manager Development is required to act as the point of contact between all Consultants/contractors in all projects stages ensuring the desired project objectives are delivered.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Oversight: Lead the development process for multiple real estate projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of project managers and development staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with investors, contractors, architects, and local authorities to align project objectives with stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, assess project feasibility, and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and funding strategies for development projects, ensuring financial viability and profitability.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with development projects and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.

  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and standards.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM)

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a

    Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years spent within the construction projects area.

  • A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.a

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; proficiency in project management software and financial analysis tools; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Outgoing and able to inspire confidence

  • Organised, detailed orientated with excellent financial skills (spreadsheets and development software)

  • Good presenter with pro-active attitude

  • Team player and team oriented
